Loved staying at a "jungle lodge" with lively bugs and creepy critters. Free bikes were great for a leisurely ride through the mosquito-infested garden. The buffet breakfast was "heavenly," complete with stale bread and lukewarm coffee.
Who needs cleanliness when you can have an authentic experience, right?

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was great, just a short walk to the ferry that takes you to the national park. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Kevin who helped us arrange trips to the gibbons resort and crocodile lake. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a mosquito net. We also enjoyed the sunrise views from our room and the relaxing atmosphere at the top of the building. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and the dinner options were also good. the hotel had all the facilities we needed and the staff made our stay very enjoyable.
Cannot find any fault.

I just adored everything so much, I wish there was more to complain about.

We felt right at home in the Lava Rock Lodge. the friendly and welcoming family made us feel comfortable and attended to all our needs. Our room with a balcony allowed us to watch the stunning sunrise, creating a peaceful atmosphere. the riverside restaurant offered delicious and affordable food. the reception was always ready to assist with any inquiries, including arranging tours to the national park and the Crocodile lake, which we greatly enjoyed. the convenient car rental service provided a comfortable transfer to the airport. We will definitely be back!
Felt very relaxed, no reason to complain.

The traditional wooden house on stilts with a connecting family room was amazing! The private balcony provided stunning views, and the fan-cooling added to the rustic charm. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Personally, I found the private bathroom with a bath or shower and free toiletries a bit basic. Others may still appreciate the amenities, though.

The staff at this place are incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel like we were at home. the location is excellent, close to the park and river, and away from the main road. the restaurant offers a variety of delicious options, and the lodges are simple yet comfortable. the private terrace with hammocks overlooking the jungle is a nice touch. the free breakfast is great, and the portions for lunch and dinner are huge, with good vegetarian and vegan options. the wifi is also very good.
Felt right at home, no complaints at all.

We had an amazing stay at Lava Rock Lodge, which is ideally located at the entrance to the park. The staff went above and beyond to assist us and make our experience memorable. The food at the restaurant was varied and reasonably priced. The accommodation itself was wonderful, with a comfortable bed, great shower, and unique design. We loved the top balcony with hammocks, a desk, and a light. The location was quiet and peaceful, and waking up to the serene surroundings was a delight. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the river was an exquisite experience. The wifi was reliable, and the option to use free bikes was a bonus.
Nothing to mention 😊.

I recently stayed at Lava Rock Lodge for a few days with my family. The rooms were simple yet comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a cozy bed. The lodge had a unique lava-like architecture, which kept the rooms cool even without air conditioning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. We enjoyed the delicious meals served at the nearby green bamboo lodge, right on the riverfront, and the tours offered were also great value. The day trip to the crocodile lake and the visit to the "Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre" were definitely highlights of our stay.
I do recommend this hotel.
